Supposed to be doing work but ...

Tonight I am at a hotel in Annapolis, MD...I am giving a paper tomorrow at 8:30 AM. I should be fixing my Power Point slides up, but instead I am on the Internet, looking at China adoption stories. It amazes me how different these babies are ... and how much they change from their referral photos to "Gotcha Day" to how they are after just a few days with what are called "their forever families". Oh how we are waiting to be a forever family! Sometimes I grab at Tim's arm or hand and say "It's going to happen right?" And he always smiles and says "Yep, it's going to happen". He is so patient, so calm. It really makes me crazy sometimes, as much as I admire him!
